2023 Birmingham Auto Show

After a four-year hiatus, British automotive professionals are once again gathering at Automechanika Bimingham, the most important trade event for the UK automotive industry. With a record 19% increase in visitors this year compared to the 2019 show, 14,402 visitors once again confirm that face-to-face B2B events are an important way for professionals to conduct business and network.

511 suppliers from 23 countries, including major leading brands, showcased cutting-edge technologies, products and services to senior decision makers from end users to distributors, vehicle manufacturers and retailers.

Simon Albert, managing director of fair organiser Messe Frankfurt UK, said: "This was undoubtedly the best Birmingham Auto show to date, not only because of the quality and quantity of attendees, but also because of the positive feedback we received from exhibitors and visitors. It makes a lot of sense for exhibitors, partners and suppliers, who all work closely together."

With the automotive industry facing huge change, the show hosted the first ever Birmingham Auto Parts Show theme session, in addition to free skills training, where visitors could discuss the major challenges facing the industry, including related topics such as electrification and intelligence.
